Lead Times: Lead times January – July range from 7-14 business days. Peak shipping lead times, July – December, are 14-21 days depending on order size. Contact either Sunflower Food Company or your sales representative for more specific dates and availabilities. In order to guarantee shipment of seasonal products, orders must be in house according to our seasonal shipping calendar. Orders received after those stated dates are not guaranteed.

Purchase Orders: All orders must have a corresponding purchase order number. Purchase orders will be checked for correct pricing and case units of measure. If any discrepancies are found the purchase order will be returned and corrections will need to be made. At that time, the purchase order can be resubmitted. Sunflower Food Company Inc. will not be responsible for orders that are shipped due to incorrect product information on the purchase orders. Any changes to purchase orders must be made in writing or via email.

Backorders: Customers will be notified if a product is on backorder. Backorders will be shipped when available – shipping charges will apply. If you do not accept backorders, we will cancel the product that is not available. A new purchase order can be submitted. Please note on all purchase orders if backorders are allowed as well as a cancel date.

Returns: No returns without the approval of a Sunflower Food Company Inc. representative. All returns must be accompanied by a return authorization number (RMA), be in original packaging and are subject to a 20% restocking fee. Seasonal items cannot be returned. Notifications of any return requests must be made within 5 days of product receipt.

Shipping: All pricing is FOB Lenexa, KS 66215 unless other arrangements have been made with a Sunflower Food Company representative. Sunflower will arrange your shipping. If you choose to arrange your own shipping, all carrier breakage claims must be submitted by the recipient and cannot be submitted by Sunflower Food Company Inc. If Sunflower Food Company Inc. arranges your shipping, shipping charges will be added to your invoice. If you are on a delivered pricing structure, please note “delivered’ on your purchase order.

 

Shipping Information: Prior to finalizing orders, double check billing/shipping address, phone number and all other contact information. Orders are shipped M-F from our warehouse in Lenexa, KS 66215. We only guarantee delivery to the provided address. Shipments requiring re-directing due to invalid, incomplete, and/or incorrect addresses are not guaranteed to be punctual. Shipping costs are calculated by product weight and not values.

Shipment Inspection: Please inspect all items upon arrival and note any damages or missing product. All claims must be filed within 3 days of receipt of goods. We do not accept breakage or shortage claims over the phone. Claims may be submitted on our packing list and emailed . Photographs of damaged product may be required.

Invoicing: You will receive an invoice once your order has shipped. Sunflower Food Company will not accept any short payment of invoices without prior approval.

Payment Terms: Our terms are Net-21 unless otherwise agreed upon by a Sunflower Food Company representative. You will be notified of any past due amounts on a monthly basis. New orders will not be shipped unless all past due amounts are paid. Past due accounts are subject to collections. Net 21 terms may be revoked after accounts become past due.
